Sky Watch Friday - Glorious

I couldn't decide which of these I liked the most. I love the horizontal photograph because it showcases so much of the clouds and the interesting lighting and coloring that was taking place.

But I also love the vertical shot because of the contrast between brilliant blue sky and the black silhouette of land.

Same sky, different perspectives. Beauty in both.

Both those are absolutely stunning shots! I usually try to make all of my shots horizontal, but for this particular shot I think it calls out for a square -- that's just my opinion -- but it REALLY is a great photo.

Fantastic shots. I tried to capture the light this way today - didn't quite show up on the shot. So I know how good this is. Stunning.
