This weekend the kids and I will be traveling back to our home town in central Kansas. Though the country is beautiful and truly our home now, I still miss some things about my "old" life....and the people who lived amongst it.My daughter has been invited to the Homecoming game and dance where she will reunite with friends of her own. Though she's able to see some of them a few times a year, this will be an opportunity to connect with those she left as an 11-year-old girl. Tomorrow they will meet the lovely young lady she has become.
I will be away from the computer for a few days as I spend time with my city community, making new memories to bring back home.
