It's hard for me to keep my camera off the sky. Its splendor never fails to amaze me and I never tire of its kaleidoscope of color that changes from moment to moment.
Life itself is like that. Turn your back for an instant...and you miss something breathtaking, inspiring, lovely.
Turn your face to the day and meet - head-on - the beauty, the joy that awaits...

With your kind of outlook on life, I'm ashamed to complain about things. But your words were so inspiring that I looked outside at all the snow and drifts and saw it for the first time in quite a while in splender and beauty!
Thank you for the attitude change!
Hugs

We have the same outlook on life, Lori. Beautiful colours in your shot - very Australian if I may say so!
The shades across your frame are fairly similar to my Sky Watch Friday shot from last week.

Hi,
A gorgeous photo.Yes, it's a great pity that sometimes we become so caught up in coping with what life can throw at us that we fail to see the beauty around us, which is very often in quite simple things.I remember standing at a bus stop once watching a spider spinning it's web, it was amazing! So fragile looking but so strong.Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera with me.
What a beautiful picture, and such wonderful words, too.
I always look at the sky;) Beautiful photo!!!
What a beautiful photo. I think looking up is almost always inspiring.

I would call this mango sky because of the orange color - wonderful shot!
I really liked this.I too have this perspective on life.
That's the kind of sky that stops people in their tracks for "oooh's" and "aah's."
Beautiful shot!
I don't know if I have ever seen colors so vivid and different. Magnificent. My Sky Watch is here!
Such a beautiful photo and your words are very heartfelt.
You certainly deserve Post of the Day from David.
Such a lovely post, such lovely words. I'm glad David sent me by. Well deserved "Post of the Day" entry.

Your post echos how I feel exactly! Amazing that somebody else says the same thing as me. The sky is so beautiful and ever changing. You can look at it and just a few heart beats later it's gone.
Lovely sky shot :-)
